Exhibitionists

Posting a HNT is fraught with hazards. There are so many things to be aware of these days. Many bloggers take pictures with their cellphones, but these can embed digital signatures in the EXIF data, and some even GPS-stamp pictures with the exact location of where it was taken. There’s the risk that items in the picture (clothing, backgrounds, objects) might be recognisable to somebody. Or maybe even that a birthmark, curve or item of clothing might compromise the subject (although the latter may be solved by only posting naked…).

Having helped one of my favourite and most sexy bloggers protect herself from posting unsecure pictures, and advised that some digital effects can easily be reversed (as in this case), I wonder how many bloggers fail to realise that their digital pics might be more of a risk than they thought. Of course words are entirely disjointed from the writer – and are less likely to be copied or handed about. Once an image is on a popular blog, it’s gone, out there, living its own existance in the ether, and depending on the popularity of the pic, spreading uncontrollably around the world.

So why do we do it? Why on earth would somebody, given the risks, post a photo of their most private parts, for all the world to see?

Well, it’s because, as Penny so wonderfully demonstrated, posting pictures of of yourself is incredibly arousing. Men seem to do it most (particularly when judging by the number of posts on Craigslist, most men seemingly attach pics of their members, and most women go to the trouble of specifying that their request for a picture does not mean a ‘cock pic’), but women do it too, usually attempting to make it more artistic and less seedy than us chaps.

I’ve posted a couple of photos here, and sent some to people privately, and usually the act of taking the pictures, and certainly that of sending them, makes me rock hard. It’s an odd feeling, seeing a picture of my own cock and that making me harder. Hearing a reaction from a lady blogger who sees me erect for the first time (the reaction usually being “use a higher resolution or zoom in a bit, I can hardly see it it’s so small” or “I asked for a picture of your stiffy, not an entry from the ‘chipolata’ section of Morrisons”) has – on a few occasions, quite literally brought me to climax. There’s nothing like wanking whilst thinking about a women who may well be pleasuring herself whilst looking at your cock….

But whatever you do, however you get off, and however/whoever you send your pictures to, be careful* and make sure you understand the technology.
